Hi Laurent,

I think your launcher is the best I have used for ease and simplicity. Please help fix the below issue.

I spoke to you previously about the issue of the "FolderItems.XML" in the new v1.4 of Appetizer resetting constantly. I installed a portable version of the latest v1.4 release and replaced the new "FolderItems.XML" with my 76KB old "FolderItems.XML" from v1.3 and also the "Settings.XML" file. The replacement of the Settings.XML file is OK. But "FolderItems.XML" (the 76KB version) is not recognised by Appetizer and once Appetizer v1.4 is closed and opened the FolderItems.XML (76KB one) resets.

I tried what you advised in your post: http://appetizer.org/forum/bug#comment-228 with no luck. I really want to use the new version with the ability to label Groups of shortcuts and faster load times!

Can you shed light on why v1.4 does not recognise the replaced FolderItems.XML file and resets it once closed and opened. Too much work has gone into the old FolderItems.XML file to start again with the new FolderItems.XML file, and as mentioned I am wary of this as the FolderItems.XML keeps resetting anyway!

I have v1.4 installed portably and use XP Professional.

Your help would be appreciated as I am sure others are having the same issue!

Anyone with a resolution to this issue please respond to this post and please help me out.

Oh I can't believe I let a bug like that go through - thanks for letting me know about it. As a result, the previous FolderItems.xml were indeed incompatible with the new version. Lee, I put a fixed version on the download page - could you give it a try and let me know if it works please?

The new v1.4.6.495 has major problem. Groups are created ok, but shortcuts inside groups are lost.

And even if you create new shortcuts and put them insides the groups. The next time you restart Appetizer they are lost.

Yes, same issue here (Build #495) -- shortcuts inside of group get lost every time.

Looks like you're right - I've also lost all the shortcuts in my group :( Hopefully that shouldn't be hard to fix.

Ok I've uploaded build #497 which appears to be working properly. The previous version was saving the groups but was not loading them back.
