Problem launching some application

Appetizer crashes on launch

A couple of weeks ago Appetizer started crashing when it starts up. It is in my StartUp group so it loads automatically (but the same thing happens if I launch it manually). It will start - I will see the bar - and then the box pops up -

"Appetizer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and wants to send an error report. How can I fix this? I am running version 1.4.7.508 and have tried reinstalling.

Hello,

Appetizer i my favorite fast launcher but one thing bugs me : the window autostarts open by default and I don't see a setting like "Start minimized" or something.

As I can see the app is not actively develop since latest version (1.4.7) is from 2010. Too bad!

Hi All,

I have not found the way to make Appetito (v1.4.7 build 508) recognize relative paths in the following sense:

I have a stable structure for my portable apps, but from computer to computer I need in some cases to copy them in a slightly different folder. For example while on computer1 the "$basefolder" of my apps (also for Appetito) is $Drive\base, on computer2 that should be $Drive\cmp\tappo\base. I would like to use exactly the same config files. If Appetizer would handle the foldernames relatively to itself that would be solved.

1. Some of us have visual disabilities and the "captcha" thingie is a real pain. I wish I knew who to complain to about it, it is a real burden. I have to go and find someone who can "see" it and type in the words for me. I have a hard enough time with regular print. Could you change it or ask the person/persons who created it to find out a way to help us.

2. I was looking at the reference to start practicing making a plugin and thouight it would be nice if you could do some type of printable download so that I could do a LARGE PRINT VERSION that would make it easy for me to study. It is hard to hold a magnifying glass to the scren to read it.

Custom app doesn't launch...

Hi!

Congratulations for your job!
I have downloaded the Portable Version of Appetizer (no install) and added some portable apps.
It works great, that's cool.
I have a home-built app that refuses to launch.
What can be the reason for that?
I have set-up an icon, removed special symbols, use a relative path etc...
With no results.

That's ok, it works now...
It seems that when you change the physical location of the app on your hard drive, the shortcut doesn't work anymore, even if you update it with the correct new location.

But I have problems with some shortcuts too.
e.g.

When I click at them nothing happens. Other appplication are working very well.
