recycle bin icon cannot really be used, as it is not active.

Yes, we can enter it on the launcher, but thats about it.

If it has files in it, the icon does not change, as in original windows.

Nor can we drag items in the launcher recycle bin icon, to have them erased.
Seems like its just there, not really doing anything.

Windows maintains several different folders for the Recycle Bin, in a completely archaic fashion. This would be something best left to a plugin.
