Hi,

I have been happily using this for quite a while and wondered if upgrading to 1.4 is simply a matter of replacing the exe file, or are there other files required as well?

Yes you need to replace the .exe but also the Data folder. Don't worry about your personal settings, they are all in a separate subfolder and won't be overwritten.

I copied the data folder and exe file only, but I *DID* lose all of the customisation - not a real biggie but I just thought I should warn people - was this because I chose to import the portable apps stuff again?

I have a similar problem a month ago, but after version 1.4.4 I don't have problems updating the .exe file, maybe is only a issue with old versions of appetizer.
