I've got 2 questions which are more requests.
Are there any chances to force appetizer to work as much similar as windows xp toolbar ?
2 important functionalities were: autohide , and possibility to drag different toolbars to 1 bar, and move them.
Second thing is the basic skin. Is there a chance to disable skin, and have a simple bar w/o any images (only icons) ?

Well Appetizer is not dead, but it simply got to a stage where it's stable and feature-complete enough that no update is really needed. I've been using it every day for over 2 years and I've never needed any additional feature.
The only posts are features that cannot be implemented without a full rewrite, or that would be useful to only a one or two users. In many cases anyway you can use the plugin API to implement any small feature you want.
With newer PA.C apps, it fails to fetch the name properly - so some apps end up having "PortableApps launcher" as their name. That's one minor thing that stopped working since last update.
I think someone should make a plugin fixing this.
